Stepping into My Confidence: A Personal Reflection
Share
Confidence is one of those things that feels elusive at times, isn’t it? As I’ve been creating content for Brilliant Authenticity (BA) and stepping into this space, confidence has been a huge focus for me. Recording the audio for the "Welcome to BA" video—whew! That was a stretch. But in that moment of discomfort, I had a realization that shifted everything for me.
I asked myself: “What’s different between me speaking versus someone else?” The answer was simple: Nothing!
I had spent so long accepting that others could confidently do things like this, while I stayed safely in my shell. But something clicked. I remembered that this is my path, and if I’m going to guide others, I need to lead by example and allow myself to be seen and heard.
Stepping out of my shell wasn’t just about creating content—it was about aligning with my purpose. It’s about owning that it’s not only okay for me to step into this role, but it’s also exactly what I’m meant to be doing. And that realization? That’s what has made all the difference.
I’ve learned that confidence doesn’t come from waiting for the perfect moment or feeling 100% ready. It comes from aligning with who you are and allowing yourself to show up, imperfections and all. And now, I’m excited to keep showing up, not just for BA but for myself and everyone who connects with this journey.
